Ruth F. Fall

Ruth F. Fall, 90, a lifelong resident Sanford, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Newton Center in Sanford. She was born on January 28, 1920 in Bath, ME, a daughter of the late Everett and Mabel (Perkins) Osborn. She attended local Sanford schools graduating from Sanford High School in 1937. On December 4, 1937 she married Arthur R. Fall. Together they enjoyed dancing and bowling. She also enjoyed following the Celtics.Mrs. Fall is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Arthur R. Fall, who passed away in 1987.She is survived by three sons, David O. Fall of Sanford, Gregory A. Fall of Gorham, and Stephen E. Fall of Sanford. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Aaron Fall, Kyle Fall and Crystal Fall.Visiting hours for Mrs. Fall will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 4 to 7pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.A graveside service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery later in the spring.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Newton Center Activities Fund, 35 June Street, Sanford, ME 04073.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
