Rudolph J. “Rudy” Pepin

Rudolph Pepin, a man whose love, generosity, humor, and work ethic defined his life, passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 63.

Known to everyone as Rudy, was deeply loved – more than he ever realized. He was admired by many and a favorite amongst his siblings. He had a heart big enough for everyone, even if he didn’t remember their name. Rudy quickly befriended strangers with a joke and if he teased you, you knew you had a place in his heart. He believed in second chances and in loving people just the way they are.

Born on May 1, 1962 in Sanford, Maine, Rudy lived a life of humble generosity, compassion and deep loyalty. He gave without hesitation or expectations. Rudy was willing to give the shirt off his back or his time to help. He never sought attention or praise but believed generosity was a way of life. His acts of kindness have left ripples that will be felt for years to come.

Rudy loved to work and felt most comfortable in the driver’s seat of any piece of equipment whether it was an excavator moving gravel or tractor mowing the lawn. He took pride in his work and he was one of the most skilled operators many have seen.

Above all, Rudy loved his family and all those he called friends. One of the greatest joys in life was raising his daughters with his wife. His loyal love for his family was boundless and he simply would do anything for them.

Rudy is survived by his wife Theresa, daughters Andrea and Jennifer, grandson Isaiah, siblings Kathleen, David, Michelle, Dean, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with a service to celebrate Rudy’s life following at 3:00 PM on Thursday July 10th at Black-Heald & Walker Funeral Home, located at 580 Main Street in Springvale. A memorial gathering will follow from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the family home in Acton. All who loved him are welcome.
