Roger J. Morin
Roger J. Morin, 89, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. He was born in Sanford on October 16, 1923 a son of the late Albert and Florida (Burbank) Morin.He was a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Parish. For many years he was employed by the local textile mills as a weaver.He is predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Morin and Claude Morin, one sister, Lucille Rondeau.A devoted husband and stepfather he is survived by his wife, Juliette (Desrochers) Morin of Sanford, stepchildren, Roger Desrochers of Alfred, Jeannine Brunelle of Sanford, Rachel Dee of Alfred, two sisters, Paulette Davies of British Columbia, Angie Mailhot of Sanford, six grandchildren, one great grandson, four nephews and two nieces.Visiting hours will be Friday, October 19th from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
