Robert H. Luneau

Robert H. Luneau, 74 years old, of Sanford, ME, died peacefully on October 18, 2005 at Varney Crossing Nursing Home in North Berwick, ME.Mr. Luneau was born on January 15, 1931 in Rochester, NH. He was the son of Armand and Margaret Luneau. He worked for several years as a machinist for Sprague Electric, and then worked for most of his years as a truck driver for both himself, and the State of Maine.Robert was a quiet man, with a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed long walks, fishing, and giving great big bear hugs. He enjoyed watching baseball, and the company of his family.Robert is predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer M. Luneau.Surviving is his wife of 27 years Marviline Bose Luneau of Sanford; three daughters, Ann Perkins of Kennebunk, Kathy Daggett of Arundel, Dot Luneau of Arundel, a step-daughter, Anita Fortin of Shapleigh; three sisters, Jeanette Roux of Sanford, Irene Precourt of Saco, Jacqueline Ide of Florida, eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Mr. Luneau will be held Friday, October 21, 2005 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. Sanford, ME. A 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday the 22nd at St. Ignatius Church in Sanford.
