Robert F. Lozowski

Robert F. Lozowski, 72, of Sanford, passed away on June 13, 2014 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Biddeford on August 2, 1941 a son of the late Walter and Maxine (Clegg) Lozowski. He was a graduate of Sanford High School. He moved to Alfred at the age of 10 and was raised by foster parents, Rev. and Mrs. Lester C. Holmes.Robert enjoyed gardening, woodworking, fishing and spoiling his dogs, Rose and Bud. He also enjoyed making people smile. A jack of all trades if Bob could not fix it than it can't be fixed. He was kind, generous and loyal to everyone. He touched everyone's heart with his calm but yet funny sense of humor. He was a hard worker his whole life and had recently retired for the Sanford Wal-Mart.He is survived by his wife, Carol Lozowski, his children, several grand children and great grand children, siblings, Jim Lozowski and his wife, Hallie, Dorothy Lozowski, Nancy Junkins and her husband, Garry, Helen Lozowski.Services will be held at a later date.Contributions may be made in his memory to the Animal Welfare Society PO Box 43, West Kennebunk, ME 04094.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
