Robert V. Brin

Robert V. "Bob" Brin, 70, of Sanford died on August 21 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford following a lengthy illness.Born in Sanford on July 29, 1943, he was the youngest child of Victor A. and Ida (Guay) Brin. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings.Robert attended Sanford schools and proudly served in the U.S. Army.He enjoyed carpentry and woodworking, and with the help of his wife, Peggy, created a home where they have spent over 30 happy years together.Bob is survived by his wife and best "bud", Margaret (Berard) Brin, and by his cherished cats, Baby and Coco.Following Bob's wishes, there will be no funeral services. A private burial with military honors will be held in the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
