Rita R. Gerry

SHAPLEIGH Rita R. Gerry, 72, a resident of the Lodges in Springvale and a long time resident of 32nd St., in Shapleigh died peacefully Wednesday at H.D. Goodall Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Sanford November 12, 1934 a daughter of Oscar & Jeannette (Morin) Gagne. For several years, Rita ran the snack bar at the former Lee's Shopping Center. Later she was employed by Dr. Maurice Morin for many years as his assistant. Rita later retired from Sprague Electric.Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Eugene K. Gerry, of Springvale, a son Craig of Sanford, two daughters, Terilee & her husband Larry Busby of Shapleigh and Karen Gerry of Alexandria, VA., her sister Terry Watkins and her husband George of Sanford, and two brothers, Ronald Gagne and his wife Veronica of Seneca, SC, and Michael Gagne of Vermont. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well numerous nieces & nephews.
