Rita M. Arsenault

Rita Morin Arsenault, 89, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Newton Center in Sanford. She was born in Manchester, NH, on February 15, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Theresa (Fletcher) Morin. The family moved to Sanford early on and she attended local schools.She was employed at the former Goodall Textile Mills, local stores and offices and at St. Thomas School in the cafeteria. She loved working with the many children with whom she interacted at St. Thomas on a daily basis. She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.She is predeceased by her husband of over 63 years, George Arsenault who passed away in 2004.She is survived by a daughter, Linda Arsenault of Lebanon, NH, a grandson, Mark Arsenault of Shapleigh, ME, and loving nieces and nephews from Maine and Florida.A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Arsenault will be celebrated on Monday, February 7th at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
