STOCKER, Richard "Warren", 89, of Shapleigh, Maine, (formerly of Saugus and Reading, MA and Nokomis, FL) died peacefully at Greenwood Center in Sanford, Maine on Monday October 3, 2016. Devoted husband for 68 years of Hazel J. (Skinner) Stocker , loving father of Allan D. Stocker and his partner, Freda, of Wilmington, MA and Jean Stocker Higgins and husband, James of Needham, MA. Born and raised in Saugus, MA, son of the late Allen Milton (Mit) Stocker and Elizabeth M. ("Bess" Sears) Stocker. Dear brother of the late Dorothy B. Warden of Saugus MA. Brother of Charles K. Stocker of Kittery Point, ME. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his cherished dog, Cindy. Warren was born and raised in Saugus, MA, graduating in 1944, then served his country for two years in the Navy, stationed in the South Pacific during WW II. Warren helped to build his home in Saugus where he and his wife lived and raised their family until their move to Reading in 1963. Warren was a proud member of IBEW Local 103 for over 65 years working for M.B. Foster and Mass Electric Construction Company as a Master Electrician and General Foreman. Past member of Masonic Lodge in Reading, Warren enjoyed 28 years of retirement, living in both Nokomis, FL and at their beloved home in Shapleigh, ME. Warren's interests included boating, fishing, and snowmobiling as well as cooking and home projects. His family is respecting his wishes that there be no public services for him. Warren wanted to be remembered as he had last been seen by all while he was alive. Interment at Highland Grove Cemetery, N. Shapleigh.
