Richard M. Mee

Richard M. Mee, 65, of Acton, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Acton on December 13, 1947 a son of the late Victor and Louise (Pillsbury) Mee.A graduate of Sanford High School he then enlisted in the US Army.He enjoyed watching wrestling, cruising in antique mustang, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a volunteer with the Acton fire and rescue. He also enjoyed four wheeling, taking care of his chickens his dog "Buddy" and his cat "Minow".He is predeceased by his parents as well as one brother, Victor Jr., one sister, Irene, grandson, Hunter.He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elaine (DesRoberts) Mee of Acton, two daughters, Tammy Krampetz and her husband, Daniel, Laurie Streeter and her husband, Brian, granddaughter, Paige, grandsons, Nathan Mee, Brandon Mee, Justin Eldridge, eight siblings, Chester Mee and his wife, Brenda, Perry Mee and his wife, Cindy, Robert Mee, Mervin Mee, Evangeline (Peewee) Lebresque, Marsha Mills and her husband, Dale, Everline Cookson and her husband, Stephen, Pearl Wallace and her husband, Richard, Charlotte Mee, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.Visiting hours for Richard will be on Tuesday from 3 to 6PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
