Scarborough Richard I. Lewis, 85, died on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. Richard grew up in Portland and lived in Cape Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his sister Emily Ross and his brother William Lewis. He is survived by his wife Abigail; two stepsons, Daniel Berman of Canton, MA, and Robert Berman of Cape Elizabeth; niece, Jocelyn Libby and her family of Saco; nephew, Richard Lolley and his family of Gorham. Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Growing up on Chesley Avenue, Dick and I were more than neighbors, we were best friends. We shared many wonderful adventures together and a few misadventures along the way. I have wonderful memories of Dick and will miss him; remembering Emily and Billy as well as the surviving family as I reflect today.
