Richard R. Lemay

On July 3, 1965 he married the former Monique Vachon at Notre Dame Church in Springvale. In 2002 he retired from CYRO after 35 years of service with the company. After retirement he volunteered his time in the revitalizing of the former Nasson College. He enjoyed woodworking and spending quality time with his family.Richard is predeceased by one brother, Lionel Lemay.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Monique M. Lemay of Springvale, one son, Steven-Gerard Lemay and his wife, Krystyanna of Waterboro, grandchildren, Amanda Lemay, Alicia Lemay, and one great granddaughter, Adriana Whitehead. He also survived by his siblings, Majella Provencher and her husband, Lionel, John Lemay and his wife, Loretta, Joseph Alcide Lemay, Louis Lemay and his wife, Jill, Bernard Lemay and his wife, Karen, Celine Lariviere and her husband, Ralph, David Lemay and his wife, Donna as well as many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Richard will be held on Thursday, September 16th from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
