Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I wake up in the morning
    and find a empty bed
I close my eyes and there you are
    Running around in my head
I now know, you have not gone away
You are in my head and in my heart
    That is where you’ll stay
    Forever and a day. Always

  2. My deepest condolences to you Aunt Gwen. I know how precious Richard was to you and how beautifully you cared for him these last few years. Richard was always smiling when I saw him and I must assume it had a lot to do with you though I understand he was a joyful spirit on his own. That is why you both got along so well, two joyful spirits. Love to you and the rest of his family.
    Katie

  3. We send our deepest condolences to you Gwen and all of the family, some of whom we met on our last cruise with you in 2019. Such wonderful memories we made on the Hudson River cruise 2018 & the ME cruise, complete with Gwen’s tour of all that is Portland. We feel like we have known you forever.
    Our prayers and love,
    Linda and Ed Bush

  4. Gwen I am very sorry for your loss. You took extraordinary care of him❤️Richard certainly was a very generous and interesting person. I am forever grateful for the times he opened his house to my family on Little Diamond Island. Those were memories I will always cherish and I know will live in my boys memories for a lifetime. My thoughts and prayers are with you and hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you both shared.

  5. Lee and I send our deepest sympathy for the loss of Richard. He was a wonderful man and we were so very fond of him. May your wonderful memories keep him alive in your heart.
    Maureen and Lee Humiston

  6. Richard did a lot for me when I was a young man. Although many years have gone by, I have not, and will not ever forget it.

I made a donation today to the Maine military museum in Dick‘s memory.
