Raymond J. Pinault

Raymond J. Pinault (5/1/1939-3/31/2019)Pinault, Raymond J. age 79, of River Street in Sanford, Maine passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning, March 31st, 2019. He was the doting husband of Jean L. (Finney) Pinault and the former husband of Pauline (Cartin) Grocott. Born in Fall River, MA; he was the only child of the late Louis P. and Dora (Bergeron) Pinault and a stepson of Dorothy S. (Boucher) Pinault. Mr. Pinault was in the U.S. Navy and served two years active duty. Following his time served in the Navy, he was employed for 28 years as a supervisor at Light-O-Lear / Aluminum Processing. Later, he was the owner and operator of Somerset Tanning for 12 years in Massachusetts. At the end of his working career, he had worked at Knox County Nursing Home, Edina, MO; Greenwood Nursing Home, Sanford, ME; and Nonantum Resort, Kennebunkport, ME. In addition, he is survived by two daughters and one son, Louise (Pinault) Boucher and husband, Bobby Boucher of Fall River, Ma; Doreen Pinault of Fall River, Ma; and Gerald Pinault of Assonet, Ma; three granddaughters, Melanie (Boucher) Gosciminski, Tabitha (Boucher) Coelho, and Nicole Branco; three grandsons Brian, Brad, and Matthew Pinault; two great granddaughters, Kaylee and Sofia Coelho; three step-children, Jerry, Craig, and Eric Pacheco; five step grandchildren, Jessica, Steven, Craig Jr., Alec, and Carissa Pacheco; and three step great grandchildren, Cooper, Colby, and Landon Pacheco. His Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 27th, from 4:00-7:00 pm. at the Nonantum Resort, 95 Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport, ME 04046.
