Phyllis A. Morgan

Phyllis A. Morgan, 92, of Sanford, passed away on Friday April 24, 2009 at the Greenwood Center Nursing Home. She was born in Newfield on December 16, 1916, a daughter of Chester and Clara (Eastman) Tirrell.For many years she was employed in the local shoe shops and dress shops.She is predeceased by her husband, Bernard Morgan who passed away in 1997. She is also predeceased by two sons, Arthur Reed and Billy Reed , four brothers Alden Tirrell, Phillip Tirrell, Nelson Tirrell and Lawrence Tirrell.She is survived by her stepsons, Ralph Morgan and Henry Morgan of Pahrump, Nevada, two daughters in law, Holly Reed of Oconto, Wisconsin, and Anita Reed of Waterville, one sister, Dora Tirrell Gammon of Laconia, NH, as well as several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.A Graveside service for Mrs. Morgan will take place on Monday, May 4th at 10AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
