Phyllis M. Crawford

Phyllis M. Crawford, 75, of Acton, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2007 at the York Hospital. She was born in Dover Foxcroft on January 30, 1932, a daughter of Donald C. and Lillian K. (Bragdon) Duplissa.For 30 years she dedicated her life to providing health care services to the elderly in their homes. Her own home was at times opened to those in need. A family orientated person, her children and their families, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.She enjoyed yard sales, traveling, tending to her plants as well as reading.She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald I. Crawford who passed away in 1966, one son, Jeffrey Crawford.She is survived by her children, Ronald Crawford and his wife, Pauline of Crawford, Maine, Andrew Crawford and his wife, Linda of Acton, Maine and Scott Mooney and his wife, Holly of Acton, Maine, one brother, Ronald Fields, one sister, Mary Jane Grady, both of CT., nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mem, as she was known will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 11am at the Rochester Cemetery, in Rochester, NH.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale, Maine.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the
