Peter J. Brown

Peter J. Brown, 47, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.Peter was born in Sanford on August 9, 1965 to Brian and Dorothy (Hatden) Brown. He grew up in Lebanon and attended local schools, graduating from Noble High School. He had been previously employed as a roofer.Peter was a very athletic person. When he was younger he was involved in wrestling, soccer, hockey, baseball and had been active in the Boy Scouts. He liked going ice racing and enduro racing and loved to go mudding in his truck. Peter was a loving father and enjoyed doing things with his children, especially attending their athletic events and other functions. He had many friends that he enjoyed spending time and going different places with. He will be remembered as a loving father, son and brother and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.Peter was predeceased by his father, Brian S. Brown and by his brother, Brian C. Brown.Surviving are three children, Gerard S. Gardiner of Rochester, New Hampshire and Brittany and Peter B. Brown, both of Berwick, Maine; his mother, Dorothy Brown of Lebanon, Maine; his sister, Shaina Begin of New Sharon, Maine and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 13th at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home located at 29 Winter Street in Sanford.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making a contribution to the charity of one's choice.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
