  5. My condolences to the Maloney family and friends. I had the pleasure of attending Saint Francis School in Fair Haven CT with Paul and catching up with him at one of our grammar school reunions a few years ago. Paul was always ready to jump into a game of whatever during our grammar school recesses and was always a good sport. He was well liked by all and greeted everyone with a smile. May he rest in peace.

  7. My sincere condolences to the family and many friends of Paul. I knew Paul from high school golf, his skill and love of the game allowed him to rack up a lot of District Golf League (DGL)wins playing for Notre Dame of West Haven. A true son of Fair Haven and loaded with Irish charm. RIP Paulie.

  8. We want to share a special day in your life our friend. You had a hole in one on a short par four and the Montevallo Golf Club. It is the only hole in one on a par four we know of on this course. There was a reason we called you our coach. You were a true friend and we missed you and Dee the day you moved back to ME. I don’t think they have golf courses in heaven, but if God builds one, save us a tee time. Posted with great love and appreciation for a special man. 11. My wife Lorri and I were very shocked and saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. I have very fond memories of his time with us on the MS Gulf Coast. I remember the first time I met Paul. A mutual friend (BB Minton) asked him to join us for a round at Broadwater Sea Course (a par 71 course). Paul shot par! Not unusual for him but not even in the same stratoshpere for BB and myself. Paul got a big kick out of us ribbing him for playing a game we were not familiar with…from the fairway and onto the green. We became close friends and shared many more rounds over the years. Such a very kind person with a great smile and laugh. So proud of his Irish heritage. God bless you Paul, Diane and the rest of his family. Robert and Lorri Freeman

  12. Hi, My name is Dan Cyr. I only got to know Paul in the last couple of years when he started to play golf at Biddeford-Saco CC. We played together many times, having fierce one on one matches all for little or no money which didn’t matter because the banter back and forth was some of the best and most enjoyable I’ve had in my 35 years of golf. He had a zest for life and although last year experiencing some health issues, you could not get him to talk about himself and his issues as he always deflected the conversation to how you were doing !! One of the quality people I have been fortunate to meet. My condolences to Diane and the entire Maloney family !

You had a hole in one on a short par four at the Montevallo Golf Club. It is the only one recorded ever on any par four on that course. We will always consider you our coach, friend, and neighbor. I don’t think they have golf courses in Heaven, but if God builds on hold us a tee time. Dave Dennis Doug George and Jim
