Paul V. Lunetta

Paul V. Lunetta, 83, of Sanford and formerly of Hanover, MA and Ellenton, FL, passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2017 at the Southern Maine Health in Biddeford. He was born in Braintree, MA., on December 18, 1933 a son of the late Dominic and Phyllis (Johnson) Lunetta. He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1954 until 1957.He retired from the Hanover Police Department having served his whole career as a Police Officer with the town. He was a founding member of the Hanover Police Boy's Club. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #3 and the VFW Post # 9935.He is predeceased by his wife, Martha, brothers, Warren Lunetta and Donald Lunetta, sister, Gayle Main.Paul loved his family and is survived by his children, Lynne Shaw of Sanford, Paul Lunetta and his wife, Melissa of Sanford, Mark Lunetta and his wife, Kathy of Middleborough, MA, David Lunetta of Wareham, MA, Michael Lunetta and his wife, Becky of Randal, WA, Brian Lunetta and his wife, Crystal of Roseburg, OR, one brother, David Lunetta of Plymouth, MA, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.A Graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday August 7th at 1PM at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
