Resided in: Tyngsborough, Massachusetts

Dr. Paul Martin Basko, faithful servant of Jesus and loving husband and father, went home to be with the Lord on December 2, 2022. Paul had some recent health decline but peacefully transitioned to his eternal home in Heaven to be whole and healed with his Savior. Paul was born on September 7, 1948 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from National Chiropractic College in Chicago, IL where he met and married his sweetheart, Georgia Brundige. They moved to Maine and set up their Chiropractic practice in Springvale, ME, where he practiced for over 40 years. Paul was very active in the community and in his church, Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church of Springvale. He served faithfully as a deacon, Bible study teacher, trustee, and leader there for close to 50 years. He was also a guest speaker for Stonecroft Ministries, sharing the testimony of his faith journey with others. He exemplified a committed Christ follower and leaves a great legacy of faith in the church, the community, and in his family. Paul loved to garden and shared his harvest with others. He taught both at Noble High School and York County Community College. He served on the Maine Chiropractic Board for several years. He and his wife Georgia raised their two children in Lebanon, ME on a small historical farm where he cared for grounds and gardens and enjoyed hosting neighbors, exchange students, missionaries, and friends. He and Georgia travelled in later years and treasured time with family, visiting national parks and historical sights with joy and enthusiasm. Paul and Georgia recently resided in Tyngsborough, MA with daughter Georgia and son-in-law Joshua and four grandsons. They attended Crossway Christian Church of Nashua. They shared their love and faith with neighbors, caregivers and new friends. Paul leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Georgia, his son Aaron Basko and wife Rebecca of Virginia, daughter Georgia Burnett and husband Joshua, six grandchildren that were his pride and joy, sister June Hancock, brother Mark Basko and wife Jeri, Devin Basko, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family which have served as “family” to Paul and the Baskos. The family would welcome all who would like to celebrate the life of Paul to join them for a Celebration of Life service at Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church, Springvale, ME on Saturday December 17, 2022. The gathering will start with visiting at 10:00 am and a service at 11:00 am, followed by lunch and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church or Stonecroft Ministries, in Paul’s honor. 1. Uncle Paul,
You were so kind, you were never judgmental or unkind. I am so blessed that you came to my house I cant remember but think it was 2009? You wanted to have my husband who is a chef, cook for you. It was wonderful to have an intimate dinner and visit with you. I cherish that memory. You always came to Denver and ended up doing adjustments on everybody, it was nice to serve you for once. I love you, Im sorry how our bodies fail us, but you are now in your perfect body and free from pain and distress. I love you uncle Paul.
