PORTLAND - Mr. Paul Al Macomber, 54, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2014 at Maine Medical Center. Al was born November 21, 1959 in Dracut, MA. Al honorably served his country in the US Army. Als life revolved around his family. He was a loving and devoted father, husband, brother and son who will be deeply missed. He was predeceased by his father, Paul D. Macomber and his brother, Daniel Macomber. Al is survived by his mother, Johanna (Bison) Macomber of Waterboro; wife, Lisa Collins of Portland; daughters, Ashley and Kayla Macomber of Portland; sister, Karen Lemery and husband, Brian of Alfred; brother, Steven Macomber of Waterboro; several nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday from 5-7PM in the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State St., Portland. Military Honors will be rendered on Monday at 6:30PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

Al was my source of comfort, love, joy, happiness and companionship.He wasn’t only my husband he was my best friend i could always rely on him for anything. memories of us will always live on, I loved the 22yrs i spent with him and i will never forget them. I loved him with all my heart and no one could ever replace it, I will miss seeing you, your smile. I love you Lisa
