Biddeford- Patrick J. Driscoll, 57, died at his home in Biddeford on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Patrick was born in Aurora, Colorado on May 26, 1960, as the fifth child of Paul and Elaine Driscoll. He grew up in Portsmouth, NH where he was a champion swimmer, particularly in the underwater swimming event each summer at the Peirce Island pool. In high school he was an accomplished trumpeter in the acclaimed Clipper Band, and was the drum major for his senior year, an honor he richly deserved. Patrick graduated from the University of Dallas in 1982, and later earned his MBA at the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business.
He settled in southern California where he owned and ran a medical information business for many years and raised a family. He recently returned to his beloved New England with his partner Kris, to be close to his family and to escape the heat, overcrowding, and lack of discernable seasons that was southern California. Pat liked to hunt with his brother Paul, cook in the food room for Kris, and spoil his dogs Zoe and Bubba. He loved to laugh and he hated bad grammar. He cherished, and was proud of, his daughter Molly and his son Ian beyond measure. He was a brother, father, son, and partner and his absence will leave a hole in our hearts forever.
Patrick was predeceased by his mother, father, and brother, Timothy J. Driscoll. He is survived by his daughter, Molly and son, Ian of Huntington Beach, California; Colleen Driscoll, the mother of his children, of Huntington Beach; his partner, Kristina Mason of Biddeford; his brother, Paul Driscoll and wife Beth Dobson of Falmouth, Maine; his sister, Mary Driscoll and husband Rod Rovzar of Portsmouth and Stoneham, Maine; his brother, Tom Driscoll and wife Suzanne of Portsmouth; his sister, Martha Driscoll and her fiance Marc Simons of Scarborough; his sister, Meghan Hart and husband Tom of Portsmouth; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will miss him dearly. Pat we loved you so.
A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME. To view Patrick's memorial page, or to share an online condolence, please visit www.ConroyTullyWalker.com

I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing…I work at his dog’s vet hospital and I was shocked to hear of the news. I met Pat and Kristina at the Biddeford dog park a couple of times. I loved the pictures he took of all of the dogs and you could see how much he truly loved his dogs. He will be missed. -Sarah Smith
