Windham - Patricia "Pat" Anne Moran, 75, died on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at her home after a brief illness. Pat was born in Portland on March 28, 1946, a daughter of the late John and Violet Delaney. She attended local schools in Portland and married her high school sweetheart, they had two children, James "Jim" and Sandy "Sam". She was a stay-at-home mom until they were in high school and loved catering to her children and their friends. She was known as the coolest mom because she always baked fresh cookies for the kids on half-days of school and would cart them all to Dundee Park, the roller-skating rink or wherever they needed to be. She worked as a bookkeeper at Bradlee's, followed by Home Depot, where she earned her 20-year service pin before her retirement last year. In her free time, Pat always had a vegetable garden and was passionate about her flowers. She loved to feed the birds, especially the hummingbirds that were her favorites. She looked forward to happy hour with her girlfriends and loved margaritas. She always had the oldies playing and she loved to dance. Pat was a talented ceramic painter and a fantastic baker. She loved family gatherings and hosting Christmas Eve parties and sharing her signature fudge and Christmas cookies. She was an amazing mom. Pat was predeceased by her brother, John Delaney. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Moran and husband Robert Nichols of Fort Myers, FL; son, Jim Moran and husband Trevor Kraklau of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Arlene Colpritt of Scarborough; step granddaughters, Kiersten Nichols and Latyahnna Kraklau; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours celebrating Pat's life will be held from 4-6PM, on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
