Pamela A. Williamson
Pamela Ann Williamson, 44, of Ellenburg Center, New York passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 26 2014. Pam was born on December 12, 1969 in Biddeford, Maine. She was raised in Sanford, Maine and attended Sanford schools. She moved to Ellenburg Center, New York as a young adult, where she owned and operated a small family farm and worked as a United States mail carrier. Pam was a bright and charming presence to everyone she met. She was smart, funny, and quirky and we were all so blessed to have her in our lives. Her greatest passions in her life were her children, family and animals and doing all she could to impact their lives and make them better and brighter. She shared a passion with her boys of big trucks, mudding and all things country. Yet at the same time, she was a girly girl who loved romance, all things pink and her special gift of a tiara. She spent most of her adult life in New York, but her heart always remained in Maine with her boys and family. She looked forward to frequent return visits to pick seasonal berries, visiting the coastal towns and frequenting Maine's stores. Pam was an avid animal lover and she devoted her life to them. She would always try to rescue an animal in need, especially dogs. If you saw Pam outside of work, you would always see her with her dog companions in tow. She was a firm believer that every dog deserved a forever home surrounded by love and attention. A home that made it an integral part of its family life, free of containment. A more generous woman of spirit, love, time and resourses will be very hard to find and she will be sorely missed by all. Pam is survived by her son Nicholas Williamson, her son Guy Gilpatrick and his partner Emily Courcy, her parents Kenneth and Priscilla Roy, her sister and best friend Penny Roy, her sister and brothers Patina Roy, Kenneth Roy Jr., and Kory Roy, nieces and nephew Ayla, Evan and Cheyenne, many aunts, uncles and cousins, her special friend Al Riley, her very special fur baby and companion Titan, and many friends and co-workers.We would like to to extend special thanks and love to Pam's very dear friend, Kayleigh LaBombard of the Mooers Animal Control Shelter for the special love, care and attention that she has given to all of Pam's fur babies during this very tragic time. We see why Pam loved and valued you so much. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mooers Animal Control Shelter. Checks may be made out to Town of Mooers with dog control written in the memo and mailed to Town of Mooers, P.O. Box 242, Mooers, NY 12958. Donations may also be made in memory of Pam to any animal rescue of your choosing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an informal celebration of Pam's life beginning Monday at 12 noon at the Carll-Heald and Black Funeral Home 580 Main St. Springvale, Maine. A committal prayer will be recited Monday at 2:00 at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
