OLIVE E. BERGERONSanfordOlive E. Bergeron, 95, of Sanford, died October 2 at her home.She was born in Sanford on August 28, 1913, a daughter of Ernest and Lydia (Roulleau) Tanguay, attended Sanford schools and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed with the Goodall-Sanford Textile Mills and then with Sprague Electric. Upon her retirement from Sprague, she worked in the Sanford Free Meal Kitchen from 1980 to 2006.She was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, was a member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne and the Daughters of Isabella.Mrs. Bergeron enjoyed knitting and sewing, and especially trips to Canada and Florida to visit her children.She was predeceased by her husband Donat Bergeron in 1980, and by 4 children, Patricia, Ernest, Robert and Roger.Survivors include 4 sons, Richard Bergeron and his wife Simone of Sebring, FL, Daniel Bergeron and his wife Margaret of Sanford, Thomas Bergeron, Maurice Bergeron, both of Sanford, 5 daughters, Jacqueline Desrochers and her husband Roland of Alfred, Alma Caissie and her husband Joseph of Springvale, Paula Malcolm of Sanford, Elaine Hill and her husband Brian of Fryeburg and Leesburg, FL, Helen Bergeron of Sanford, 2 brothers, Lionel Tanguay and Leon Tanguay, both of Sanford, 2 sisters, Lillian Perreault of Sanford, Helene Arseneault and her husband Roger of Florida, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
