Norman Gagnon, 58, of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Sanford, Maine, died on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Broward Health North in Deerfield, Beach, Florida. Norman was born on November 1, 1961 to Robert and Theresa Gagnon in Sanford where he grew up and attended local schools, graduating from Sanford High School in 1980. Norman was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Sanford. During his working life he was employed at Tenneford Weaving in Sanford for several years before establishing "A Touch of Class Catering" which he owned and operated for many years. Surviving are his daughter, Nicole Mayo and her husband Ben of Wells; three grandchildren, Brooke, Bristol, and Bella; his parents, Robert and Theresa Gagnon of Sanford; his sister, Diane Binette and her husband Jim of Sanford; three nieces, Stacey Chevalier and her husband Barry of Sanford, Kelly Gamboa and her husband Eli of West Roxbury, Massachusetts and Katie Binette and her fiance Dan of Dover, New Hampshire and a nephew, Eric Cormier his fiancee Ashley and their children Avery and Carter of Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a date to be announced at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island Suite 300, Topsham, Maine 04086. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
