Nicole M. Stanley

Nicole M. Stanley, 50, of Springvale, died unexpectedly in Biddeford on February 13.She was born in Disraeli, Quebec, Canada on April 24, 1956, a daughter of Arthur and Jeannine (Croteau) Cote, and came here as a child. She attended Sanford schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.She had been employed with Cabletron in Sanford and Rochester, NH. She earned certification for medical billing and coding and had recently gone to work in this field.Family was most important to her. When her sons were boys she was a regular at the SSYAA ballfields in attendance at their games. She was always friendly and outgoing. She liked to do things at home like knit and sew and do puzzles. She and her husband enjoyed doing simple things together.Survivors include her husband, Anthony H. Stanley, Sr., of Springvale, 2 sons, Anthony H. Stanley, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Westbrook, Harold L. Stanley, II of Springvale, 3 brothers, Ricky Cote of Springvale, Danny Cote of Sanford, Eugene Cote of Ohio, and 3 sisters, Joanne Torrance of Georgia, Nancy Gammons of Washington and Pierette Cote of California.A period of visitation will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1:30. Burial will be in the spring in Oakdale Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, it is requested that contributions be sent to the Stanley family at P. O.
