Nellie Webber

Nellie Mae Webber, 64, of Sanford, died February 27 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford after a long illness.She was born in Portland on July 15, 1944, the daughter of George and Genevieve (Day) Webber and attended school in Limington.She had been employed some years ago with Fairchild Semiconductor in South Portland.Nellie enjoyed simple pursuits such as square dancing, going to the beach, drawing, and playing beano, dominoes and cards.Nellie was a member of the Springvale First Baptist Church and sang in its choir.She was also a member of the Riverside Grange in Lebanon, the Harmony Club and TOPS, both in Sanford.Survivors include her mother, two brothers, Gerald Webber and Dwight Webber, all of Limington, and her special companion, Clinton White of Sanford.A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, with the Rev.
