Uncle Nate,
Losing you is a tremendous blow to our family. I will cherish all the memories made with you and you teaching me so many life skills; changing oil and filters, checking acid in batteries. I will miss the honest and heartfelt conversations we shared over the years, the way you instinctively knew what to ask to get me to open up and share my thoughts. Then you would say, Its ok Sweetheart, Uncle Nate loves you. You were always there when we needed you such as in the Summer of 1968 when you became my hero. Although you had 5 children of your own to care for you took my brother and I in your care because you would not have us separated. Into the station wagon we went for the ride to MA. We both will forever be grateful to you for keeping us together and well-cared for. You will always be remembered as a man of honor that did all he could to keep those he loved safe and happy. I miss you and will hold you in my heart forever.
