Myrtle A. James

Myrtle A. James, 98, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 14th at Greenwood Center in Sanford.Myrtle was born to Charles and Hattie (Greenlaw) Wilkins on April 12, 1920 in Princeton, Maine where she grew up and attended local schools.She married Harold Nason in 1938. Together they raised his two children and in time added five more of their own. She married Benjamin F. James in 2006.Myrtle stayed at home to raise her children. She was active in her local church but mostly liked to sit and read her favorite Books. She also like to cook and spend time with her grand children and great grandchildren.. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents, and her two husbands, her sons Clarence Nason, and Wendel Nason, and two daughters Claudia and Lois Nason.Surviving are two sons Ernest and Eric Nason, and a daughter Terri Anne, and her children and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 21, at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery in Springvale.To leave a message of condolence click tab at left.
