Resided in: Sanford, Maine

Morgan Broderick Adams, age 41, of Springvale ME went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2025.

Morgan was born in Sanford, ME to Hollis “Holly” Edmonds and Brian Adams. He was a graduate of Wells High School. Morgan was a well known figure in the town of Wells, working for Chase Farms since middle school. He attended Curtis Lake Church, and truly tried to show the love of God to everyone he encountered. He touched the lives of many with his sense of humor, warmth, curiosity, and ability to talk to anyone. He always had a smile that made every room he was in a little brighter.

Morgan enjoyed watching wrestling, playing video games like Red Dead Redemption, and collecting classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They watched every Marvel movie as a family, and he loved explaining all of the inaccuracies from the comics to the kids.

Morgan was a devoted father, displaying just the right amount of humor, discipline and unconditional love for his two daughters. He made sure to go to every chorus concert, drama production, and art show. He spoke frequently and proudly about his entire family to anyone who would listen.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years: Debra Adams and 2 children: Gabriella (14) and Cassandra Adams (13), his mother: Holly Edmonds, his brothers: McCormick and Quincy Adams, two nieces: Elizabeth and Brynne Adams, and many other friends and family. He is predeceased by his father: Brian Adams.

A memorial service will be held on January 10th at 2pm at Curtis Lake Church in Sanford ME. No mourning colors please. We do not grieve without hope, and we know we will see him again (1 Thes 4:13). If you knew and loved Morgan at any point in life, you are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to help feed and care for the unhoused population of Sanford, a cause that Morgan felt strongly about.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Morgan had a quiet strength and a genuinely caring spirit that stood out even from a young age. He was the kind of person who made others feel seen and supported in simple, meaningful ways. It’s clear he continued to touch lives with that same warmth throughout the years. My deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him. His kindness will be remembered.

  2. Morgan,
You taught my young heart about love, bravery, strength and loss. You had a gentle way, always making me laugh. From date nights and sking( you did much better then me) to long talks about god, life, hopes and dreams. Until we meet again.

  3. My husband and I are only seasonal residents of Wells but for the past 17 years we have always looked forward to seeing Morgan out at Chase Farms or tooting to him as we passed their little red stand on Route 1. He was such a bright light – witty, comical and knowledgeable on so many subjects we have discussed over the years. He was so very proud of his wife and daughters when he spoke of them! We last saw him before we returned home to MA in October wishing him a good winter and we’ll see you in the spring… then read the unimaginable announcement. Our hearts ache for your loss. May the best Big Guy we ever knew rest in peace and may our Good Lord bring comfort and strength to you his family and to his work family at Chase Farms through his love. xoxo

  4. Debbie and girls,, I so sorry about your loss. I know the heartache you must feel. I pray that God will bless you with peace and comfort. Love, Laura Masson
