Her family shared good, old-fashioned French Canadian gatherings, which involved much laughter and story telling. She married Edgar Laprise in 1935 and they had two children , Lucille and Roger. She gave them unconditional love. She adored her grandchildren. She never tired of playing Atari, cards, or Jenga with them or of listening to their stories. She was proud of them and supported them in all their athletic and academic undertakings. Her ever present smile shined brightest when she was with them.Monique worked until she was seventy years old. She was a proud , conscientious worker. She never complained, nerver spoke ill of anyone. She enjoyed simple pleasures and family moments, but she was always willing to go on a new adventure with her grandchildren.
