Molly E. Saucier

Molly E. Saucier, 88, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover, NH surrounded by her family. She was born in Sanford on May 3, 1923, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Laura (Roy) Lehoux. She attended the former St. Ignatius School and Longfellow School.For 30 years she was employed at Dover Shoe. She was a life member of the AMVETS, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the V.F.W. She enjoyed playing bluegrass music on her guitar. For the past several years she volunteered much of her time at Another Chance Animal Rescue.She is predeceased by one brother, Rosaire Lehoux, sisters, Leona Martineau, Dolores Begin, Lucille St. Savior, one great granddaughter, Maria Caron.She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Garneau of North Berwick, one son, Rosaire Caron of Florida, one brother, Leonald Lee Lehoux, one sister, Leolande Brooks of Berwick, grandchildren, Aaron Garneau, special granddaughter, Laura Duffy, Rosaire Caron Jr., John Caron, Paul Caron, Thor Caron and Jesse Caron, several great grandchildren, special sister in law, Grace Lehoux, brother in law, Ben Begin, fiance, Donald Mattice and his children, Donna Hubbard, Zina Laganegro, Craig Mattice, Galen Mattice, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada.Her granddaughter would like to thank all the nurses for their compassionate care while she was at Wentworth Douglas Hospital on 3 West, especially Dawn and Katie.Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
