Hello Bonnie,Not sure if you remember me and my family but we lived at 1188 Washington Avenue and my parents lived there for over 40 years. They knew your Mom very well. We use to play kick the can on Berry Avenue when we were kids. I was always so impressed with your Mom’s strength and tenacity for she lived alone for so long and she walked just about every day up to Shaw’s rain, sleet, snow with her hair covered over with a rain/wind plastic cap. Since my parents have gone, I do not like driving by that area…. So many wonderful memories growing up in that area. My sincerest sympathy to you and your family. I will always smile when I think of your Mom…. I can only hope I can be as strong a person as she was on her own.Nancy
