Michelle M. Flynn

Michelle M. Flynn, 51, of Sanford, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at her home.Michelle was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on April 10, 1957 to Arthur and Lucille (Robideaux) Couture. She attended schools in Cumberland, Rhode Island and Charlestown, Massachusetts and completed a nursing program at Bunker Hill Community College. She worked for the Boston, MA and Sanford, ME school departments. In 2001, she moved to Maine from Charlestown, MA. Michelle loved gardening and decorating her home. She also liked going to flea markets and day trips. She had been a member of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford. She will be remembered as a kind and caring woman who loved life and all that it had to offer and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Surviving are her husband, William Flynn of Sanford; four children, Ryan Getchell of Charlestown, MA, Jillian Flynn of Sanford, ME, Brent Getchell of Charlestown, MA and Garrett Flynn of Sanford, ME; her parents, Arthur and Lucille Couture of Cumberland, RI; a granddaughter, Brianna Flynn of Sanford, ME; two brothers, Denis Couture of Burroville, RI and Larry Couture of Vail, AZ and one sister, Marlene Lamoureux of Cumberland, RI.Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 6th at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church located at 66 North Avenue in Sanford. Interment will take place later in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
