Michael J. Weeks

Michael J. Weeks, 37, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Gardner, died unexpectedly on April 19 in Arizona.He was born in Augusta on April 16, 1975, the son of Richard and Julie (Prefontaine) Weeks. He was a graduate of Hall-Dale High School in Farmingdale.Michael was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. In his spare time, he was restoring a 1966 Dodge Dart.Survivors include his parents and his sister Melissa, all of Mesa, AZ, his uncle Mike Prefontaine and his wife Rachel of Springvale, and a cousin Ericka Sanborn of Standish.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at 11:00 AM at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ. A private memorial mass will be celebrated on August 4th at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Martha's Church in Kennebunk.Local arrangements are through Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
