Michael L. Farrell

June 2, 2020
Michael Lawrence Farrell (a.ka. "Mikey") died at Maine Medical Center on June 2nd, 2020. He was born on April 29th, 1976 to Daniel and Debra (Crowley) Farrell and big brother, Jeffrey, all of Sanford Maine. He attended Sanford schools and afterward worked as a talented painter. His proudest accomplishment came in March of 2004 with the birth of his son, Cayden Rollins. One of his most favorite activities over the years was watching his son and nephew (both the same age) playing football in their Sanford Spartan Uniform. Reminds us of Mike's younger years when he was involved with sports and even sported a similar Red uniform. He was known to be the life of the party, always smiling and a great friend. He had a heart of gold and would give his shirt off his back for anyone in need. Friends have shared some pretty wild stories of the fun they had over the years. That is how we want Mikey to be remembered...loving life, having fun and making others smile. He loved his family and friends greatly and often ended conversations with "I love you". Something for us all to remember and continue now. In honor of Mikey, take the time and not be too afraid to say what you are feeling. He is survived by his parents Daniel and Debra Farrell of Sanford, ME; Son, Cayden Farrell-Rollins and daughters, Kayleigh and Aleigha Hill all of Sanford, ME; brother Jefffrey and wife Deanna Farrell, along with nephews Daniel, Degan and Drake as well as nieces Dayla and Delaney all of Acton, ME and many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins and a crew of friends! He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Telesphore and Mary Farrell and maternal grandparents John and Muguette Crowley. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, unfortunately there will not be a gathering at this time. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be planned for summer. Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
