Michael Bouffard

Michael Bouffard, 56, of Hudson NH and formerly of Springvale ME, passed away peacefully on August 5, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack NH after a long illness.Michael was a welder and worked in his field both in Maine and New Hampshire. He was a former member of the Sanford Elks Club. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Big Bucks Club of Maine. He also loved riding his motorcycles both on and off road. Crossword puzzles were one of his favorite pastimes and he was an avid reader. He loved his family and enjoyed gathering with friends and he will be missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, John P. and Mary F. Bouffard, and a son Scott. Michael is survived by his children, Heath Bouffard his wife, Jennifer of Waterboro ME, daughter, Amy Bouffard of Kennebunkport ME, brother David and his wife Jaye of Falmouth ME, sister, Caroline Chase and her partner Paul Bewersdorf of Nashua NH, sister, Susan Mesick and her husband Michael of Alfred ME. His extended family includes a niece, Jennifer Nadeau and her husband Anthony Pierce of Harpswell ME, nephews, Adam Nadeau and his wife, Monique of South Lake Tahoe CA, Cory Chase of Clovis NM and Christopher Chase of Moscow ID. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 11am at the Carll- Heald Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in his memory to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack NH.Condolences may be expressed at the Condolences tab at left.
