Mary A. Reid

Mary A. Reid, 79, of Alfred, died December 2 at the Sanford campus of Southern Maine Health Care.She was born in Alfred on May 23, 1935, the daughter of Elwyn and Alice (Whitney) Morey, attended local schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.Mary worked for a time as a caretaker for Waban and was a former member of the Alfred Parish Church.Her husband, Edward J. Reid, died in 1991.Survivors include her son Charles D. Reid of Alfred and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Alfred.
