After a courageous battle with dementia, MaryLou (Quetti) Mont, 87, of Lebanon, ME passed away peacefully at home, surrounded and cared for by her family.
MaryLou was born in Masonville, NY but grew up in Pittsfield, MA. She joined the United States Marines after high school then pursued many careers, including bus driver, secretary and a bookkeeper. She retired from the Diocese of Western Mass as a bookkeeper.
She enjoyed eating healthy, playing golf, Thai Chi, gardening, piano playing, oil painting, walking her grey hounds, going to the Y, volunteering at her church and travelling. In her younger years she was a Coach, Girl Scout Leader, Swimming Instructor as a Camp Counselor. She was always involved in her children’s, grandchildren’s, and grandchildren’s lives.
She is survived by her three children, Cindy Quetti of Lebanon, ME, Toni Baxter and her husband Nicholas, of Conway, SC and Matthew Sincere of Windsor, VA. Along with her two surviving siblings, Nanette Bartini and Stephen Quetti, both of Pittsfield, MA She leaves her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a devote Christian, mother and wife, who would travel to the ends of the earth for her family.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.

Mary Lou sounded like an amazing lady! I’m so glad I had the chance to help care for her at the end of her Journey. She was blessed to have the loving care that Cindy and Luke provided. My condolences to the family.
