Mary Elizabeth Loubier

Mary Elizabeth Loubier, 77, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Saturday, February 8th, 2025. Born on September 3rd, 1947, in Portland, Maine, she spent the first 42 years of her life there before relocating to Boca Raton, Florida, in 1989. Mary graduated from South Portland High School in 1965.

Mary worked at Hodges Furniture store in South Portland Maine before becoming a valued member of the Walmart family in Orlando, FL. She was known for her passion for knitting, cooking, and baking. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her three sons and six grandchildren. Together with her late husband, Steve, Mary loved attending the sporting events of their children and, later, their grandchildren.

Mary had a reputation for being tough around the edges, but once she got to know you, there was no one else you would want in your corner. Her love for others knew no bounds, and she found joy in seeing the happiness of others over her own.

Mary was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 52 years, Stephen Loubier. She is survived by her loving family: sons, Mark Loubier with wife Tessa, Scott Loubier with wife Jodi, and Craig Loubier; and grandchildren, Lindsay Loubier, Stephen Blake Loubier, John Loubier, Megan Loubier, Scott Loubier, and Mark Loubier.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home at 1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106 on June 23rd, 2025. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
