PORTLAND - Mary A. Casey, 92, formerly of Mitton Street, died April 4, 2013 at South Portland Nursing Home. Mary was born on February 8, 1921 in South Portland, a daughter of Hector and Leah (Bourque) Casey. She attended South Portland schools and was a graduate of South Portland High School. Mary worked for Sears as a clerk and retired over 32 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Mary always had something nice to say about everyone. She was funny, honest, and was always "dressed to kill". She was larger than life. Mary was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Evelyn Fleming; and a brother, Emile Casey. Survivors include a sister Cora McDonough of Wilton, CT; a brother Joseph Casey and his wife Sylvia of Sisters, OR; and five nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 11, at St. Patrick's Church, 1342 Congress Street, Portland. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland. Those desiring may make donations to the South Portland Nursing Home Residence Council 42 Anthoine Street, South Portland ME 04106.
