Martha Jane Walsh

PORTLAND - Martha Jane Walsh, passed away on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 peacefully in her home. She was born in Portland as the only child of the late Wilfred and Anne Houle. Martha resided in Maine for the entirety of her life. She attended Deering High School and Lasell College in Auburndale, Massachusetts in the late 1950s. Martha loved spending time with her family and her pets. Martha was a very thoughtful, kind person who loved sharing stories and memories. Martha was predeceased by her husband Patrick Leo Walsh in 1982. She is survived by her children, Deborah Walsh and Michael Walsh and his wife, Megan, and grandchild Ruby. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11AM at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 678 Washington Ave., Portland, Maine 04101. Interment will be held at a later date at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland.
