Portland - Marjorie Ellen Moody, 92, of Portland, died on July 5, 2023 at her home. Marjorie was born on March 30, 1931 to Raymond and Margaret Small in Portland, Maine. She married Paul F. Moody and they resided together until his passing in 1998. During her life, Marjorie was a collector of many things. The biggest being her love of dolls. Her neighbors fondly knew her as the little old lady who collected bottles so she could socialize and stretch her legs. Over the years she made many friends and acquaintances along her route. Marjorie was the matriarch and the glue that kept the family together. She spent much of her life taking care of her children, grandchildren and babysitting many of the families children. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rosemary Berry of Florida, Cheryl (Florencio) Bulanhugui of Florida, Sheila (David) Crosby of Georiga, Cindy (Lee) Harris of Georgia; grand children, Glen, Paul, Florencio, Jessica (Anastasia), Rachel, Travis, Kimberly, Cristenia, Marjorie, Thomas, Raymond, Tammy, Melinda; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters Kay Dipietro, Sharon Peacock; and special friend, Shelia Lerman. She was predeceased by three daughters, Roxanne Johnson, Carleen Coolidge, Norene Clark; husband; parents; grandson, Vaughn Clark; as well as several great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond, Lawrence and Donald Small; sisters, Vaughndella Caron and Alice Grant. Visiting hours celebrating Marjorie's life will be held from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland followed by a funeral service held at 1pm at the funeral home, with burial at Forest City, 232 Lincoln Street, Portland.
