Marion C. Wright, 82, of Waterboro, Maine died at her home on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 with her family at her side after a long period of declining health.Marion was born Biddeford, Maine on May 8, 1925 to Victor and Elizabeth McEnery Fay and had been living in Waterboro for 30 years after a 27 year residence in Natick, MA.After working in the Boston Naval Shipyard during World War II, she became a stay at home mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her home, taking care of her family, going camping and taking Sunday drives to get ice cream. She also liked reading, doing crossword puzzles, knitting, crocheting and going snow mobiling.Mrs. Wright was predeceased by a son Mark Kevin Wright, a brother, Richard Fay and two grandchildren, Nicole Marlise Wright and Russell James Wright.Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Russell Wright of Waterboro; five children, Russell Wright and his wife Linda of Machias Port; Richard Wright and his wife Aretha of Natick, MA; Elizabeth Rancourt and her husband Jacques of South Berwick; Joan Ordway of Old Orchard Beach and Victor Wright and his wife Roxie of Waterboro; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
