Marilyn Sheldon

Marilyn G. Sheldon, 70, of Sanford, Maine died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.Marilyn was born in Salem, Massachusetts on November 9, 1939 to Joseph and Emma (Boucher) Brusso and attended local schools. During her working life she was employed as a health care aid in both nursing homes and private residences. She also worked as a waitress for many years.Marilyn was a very hard working woman who devoted her life to taking care of her family. She was very outgoing and social and enjoyed going different places with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman will be dearly missed by her family and friend.Marilyn was predeceased by a son, David Knight and by a sister, Carol Mead. Surviving are three children, Joseph E. Knight and his wife Karen Knight of Brockton, MA; Keith A. Knight and his fiancee Dorothy O'Flaherty of Springvale and Cynthia L. Knight and her life partner Cassandra Stephens of Sanford; eight siblings, Joyce Meritt and her husband George of Danvers, MA, Donna Boudrot of Peabody, MA, Cathy Drabkowski and her husband Ted of Hollywood, FL, Brad Brusso and his wife Jean of Sanford, ME, David Brusso and his wife Claudia of Hampton, NH, Robert Brusso and his wife Linda of Wellington, FL, Gordon Brusso of Wellington, FL and Rodney Brusso and his wife Carol of Raleigh, NC; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.Visiting hours will be on Saturday, March 20th from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, Maine.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
