Marilyn Lois Mayberry

South Portland- Marilyn Lois Mayberry, 81, of Garfield Circle, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017. Marilyn was born to the late Austin Miller and Evelyn Miller on April 19, 1936 in Somerville, Massachusetts. She attended Carr Grammar School, Southern Jr High and Somerville High School. After marrying John Mayberry, Marilyn and John made their home in South Portland. They enjoyed spending their time together in their home and going out to eat at local restuarants. She was especially fond of her dogs Scrappy and Fluffy who brought her much happiness. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, John Mayberry, and a sister, Marlene Woodman. She is survived by a sister, Joan (David) Turnidge of Blaine, Minnesota; a nephew, Harold (Kathy) Woodman, Jr. of Sanford; several other nieces and nephews. A visitation celebrating Marilyn's life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway. A funeral service will follow at the chapel at 11:00am. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland.
