Marilyn A. Dawson

Marilyn Dawson of Parsonsfield, Maine died peacefully at the age of 83 on November 21, 2012 at the Riverridge Neurorehabilitation Facility in Kennebunk, Maine.Marilyn is survived by her son Marc Dodson and his wife Nancy of Dartmouth, MA, her daughter Julie Harris and her husband Floyd of Sanbornville, NH, and three grandchildren Matthew Dodson of Bailey, CO, Eric Dodson of Brighton, MA and Monica Harris of Sanbornville, NH.Marilyn was predeceased by her grandson Rory, son Thomas and 2 husband, Robert C. Dawson of Tuftonboro, NH and Vance H. Dodson of Parsonsfield, Maine.Marilyn was an honors student at Libby High School in Toledo, OH. She achieved a Master's Degree in Chemistry before raising her family in Needham, MA. She was an avid golfer and was named champion of the Needham Golf Club in 1972. In her later years, she worked at the Kingswood Press in Wolfeboro, NH and continued to enjoy golf. She also was an avid cat lover and enjoyed the company of many cats throughout her life. One of her favorite cats, Edna, alias LooLooLilly is still living out in Colorado with her grandson Matthew.A private service will be held at a later date.
