Ms. Margaret Peggy Wallace, 98, of Portland, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Barron Center. Born on December 14, 1916, Margaret was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Foley) Wallace. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her siblings, Dick Wallace, Nora Wallace, Catherine Hubner, Mary Houston, Eleanor DiMillo, John Wallace and Francis Wallace. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was a graduate of Portland High School, Class of 1935. She was employed by S.S. Kresge and Porteous, Mitchell and Braun as a bookkeeper for many years. Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 11:30AM-12:30PM in the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1PM at St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Ave., Portland. Private Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland.
