Biddeford- Marc Ryan Webster, 34, of Biddeford died unexpectedly on Monday, November 17, 2014. Marc was born in Portland, Maine on July 7, 1980 the son of Bryant P. and Judith A. Herbert Webster. He attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School in the class of 1998. In 2006 he married the longtime love of his life Tenner Mower Webster. They spent years traveling together wherever her army career took her, including New York, Alabama, and making especially strong roots in Georgia before returning to Maine. Marc was self-employed as an antique dealer for many years owning his own shop Rusty Gold Antiques in Biddeford. He was an avid Civil War Buff and was incredibly knowledgeable of the period, spending hours reading and then going to auctions to find pieces from the era. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, fly fishing, and spending time with his family; but perhaps his greatest love was the time he spent with his four year old daughter Tenzin, who was the apple of his eye. He passed on many of his favorite pastimes and his larger than life personality to her. Marc was a brother to anyone who knew him. He will be missed tremendously by all those who had him in their lives. Marc was predeceased by his beloved wife Tenner Webster in 2010 and his father Bryant Webster. He is survived by his daughter Tenzin Webster of Biddeford; his mother Judith A. Webster of Portland; two brothers Christopher M. and Keith F. Webster both of Portland; maternal grandfather Francis Herbert of Auburn along with many cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November25, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Peters Catholic Church, 72 Federal Street, Portland, ME. Arrangements are under the direction of the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland, ME. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be expressed atwww.ctcrawford.com

Guestbook

  1. The first day our family met Marc and Tenzin at our annual apple picking adventure we knew they were both so special. They quickly became part of our family. His personality was so vibrant and his love for his daughter was stronger then the sunshine. I will forever cherish the special pieces he gave me and see his smile and forever hear his laugh through Tenzin. May he rest in piece and your hearts heal softly.

  6. My condolences to his little daughter, his mother, family and friends. Marc was a good friend to my sons and I remember him laughing with them at our home. I hope you will be comforted by sweet memories and his laughter. God keep you all.When at heart you should be sad, Pondering the joys we had, Listen and keep very still. If the lowing from the hill Or the toiling of a bell Do not serve to break the spell, Listen: you may be allowed To hear my laughter from a cloud.Sir Walter Raleigh, explorer (1554 -1618)

  7. My sympathy to the Webster family. May God bring you comfort in your time of need, and please look to Him for support, because the Bible promises at Psalms 34:18 that Jehovah is close to the brokehhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Jehovah God truly cares. {www.jw.org}

  10. My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Marc was loved and he will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you’re feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress.” Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, “You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle.” You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).
